Theodoros Barlogiannis Cardiologist, MD

Dr. Theodoros Barlogiannis is a cardiologist with more than twenty years of clinical experience, specializing in advanced echocardiographic techniques, including Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Stress Echocardiography.

Since 2008, he has maintained a specialized cardiology practice in Nea Erythraia alongside the ultrasound practice of his spouse, Dr. Athina Plagou. Their collaboration focuses on providing comprehensive and personalized healthcare services, including combined cardiology and ultrasound check-ups.

Dr. Barlogiannis completed his specialty training in Cardiology at “Georgios Gennimatas” General Hospital of Athens and subsequently specialized in advanced echocardiographic techniques at the 251 Hellenic Air Force General Hospital.

From 2008 to 2014, he served as Consultant Cardiologist at Metropolitan General Hospital (formerly IASO General). Between 2014 and 2025, he worked at Bayer Hellas, initially as a Medical Advisor and later as Medical Affairs Director. Since October 2026, he has been serving as Medical Advisor in Cardiometabolism at Menarini Hellas.

Dr. Barlogiannis has an extensive academic and scientific background, with numerous publications and presentations in Greek and international medical journals and conferences. He is a member of the Hellenic Society of Cardiology and the Athens Medical Association.
