What can we check with Neck Lymph Node Ultrasound?

Neck Lymph Node Ultrasound provides a comprehensive image of the lymph nodes, using advanced technology with high-frequency specialized probes and technology such as Color Doppler, Power Doppler, and Elastography. With these techniques, a quick and reliable assessment of the morphology of the lymph nodes is possible, accurately identifying their characteristics.

Elastography is an exceptionally useful tool in Neck Lymph Node Ultrasound. With Elastography, we can evaluate the elasticity of the lymph nodes, aiding in the differentiation between benign and malignant nodes. This is particularly important in the diagnostic process.

How is Neck Lymph Node Ultrasound performed?

The patient lies in a supine position with the neck slightly extended, and the doctor applies gel to the skin to begin the examination. The examination usually lasts no more than 20 minutes, and no preparation is required from the patient.
